Chief Revenue Officer

Steve Gigliotti is chief revenue officer at Scripps Networks Interactive. Elevated to this role in February 2015, he oversees the company’s advertising sales and content distribution efforts across its portfolio of lifestyle media brands – HGTV, DIY Network, Food Network, Cooking Channel, Travel Channel and Great American Country – to ensure a coordinated approach to revenue generation across multiple platforms and maximize the company’s revenue growth in today’s evolving media landscape.

Gigliotti previously served as president of national advertising sales and marketing at Scripps Networks. In this role, he was responsible for research, branded entertainment, pricing & planning, inventory control, in addition to managing ad sales and developing new advertising-related revenue streams in conjunction with emerging media for the company’s six networks and their websites.

Prior to joining Scripps Networks, Gigliotti was vice president and general manager of WMAR-TV in Baltimore, Md. He holds a long career in the television and radio industries, which started in Philadelphia when he worked in local radio sales. Later, he joined CBS radio before moving on to local CBS television sales and eventually national television sales in New York. Additionally, he managed television sales operations in both New York and Los Angeles. Overall, Gigliotti spent 21 years with CBS and left the network as the vice president and station manager of KCBS-TV in Los Angeles. He then moved to Sacramento where he held the position of vice president/general manager of KOVR-TV until moving to WMAR-TV.

Throughout his career, Gigliotti has participated in many community-oriented efforts in several cities, including serving as a board member for the Urban League in Baltimore and Sacramento, for Towson University and other organizations that serve children. He also co-chaired the American Heart Association fundraiser in 2009 and was a member of the Board of the East Tennessee Discovery Center.

Gigliotti studied engineering at Villanova University and received a degree in marketing from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He resides in Knoxville, Tenn. with his wife and two sons.
